I am quite sure the lineup of parade participants has primarily to do with who happens to be in town. Brouwer lives in Calgary F/T, no?

Brouwer has a house here for sure.
Curious that Stone and Brouwer are representing the organization. Not from a personal perspective -- they both seem like good guys -- but just from the fact that it's not a given they'll both be here on opening night.

Johnny's dad is freakin' awesome. Glad to see him being able to attend and be one of the stars of the show!
I haven't seen a Canadian hockey city ''embrace'' a hockey dad like Mr. Gaudreau since probably Walter Gretzky way back. He's probably as recognisable as Johnny is in Calgary right now.
