Good for Eddie. Seems like a nice guy and I'm glad he managed to score another year in the league.
The one-way deal is a bit weird though as the Devils already have Schneider and Kinkaid playing well. Wonder if a trade is in the works?

That's right, but if they expect him to be in the minors, I wouldn't think they'd want to pay him that.

Simple reason for signing..Protection for Cory Schneider... depending on if he’s ready after his post season hip surgery for September or October.

Probably the most fragile goalie I can ever recall, gets in his own head and falls apart.
Seems like a nice guy though so good for him.

I may be one of the few that wishes him the best and plays his absolute best hockey before Schneider returns. I feel like we didn't give him as much of an opportunity to play here. Not that what we did was bad, Rittich and Gillies played better than him last season.
