Those potential signings are great. I'm on the lose for Hughes train and those signings definitely help.

Haha. So true. UFA day and trade deadline day are the only two days you'd have to work really.

Small, late blooming college FA signing who is now UFA.

Scored at all levels so far, highly skilled and could easily break out like a Marchessault, or he could flop like a Conacher. Worth a gamble IMO.




He's also from the eastern states, so I peg his odds of signing in western Canada at "really, really low"

Man I hope Tre has another trade locked in for a top 6 forward somehow.

I look at the roster, and add the pieces the Flames rumored to be after in free agency, and I am not thrilled at all. The Flames will need some huge internal growth next season if all we add to the current roster is Derek Ryan and maybe Tobias Rieder.

Or Foo. Saw him in Stockton a couple of times and he looked solid, has some wheels and plays with some jam. Like to see the Flames give these guys every shot to Crack the line up before making commitments to similar guys from outside the organization.
