London, ON - oh, about a METRE of snow!
City buses are not even running, ALL schools closed (including university).
I have no idea how I am going to dig myself out of this, but on the good side, I had an exam today that has been put off.
This is NUTS!

I went to UWO, so I can sympathize with life in "the snow belt". Enjoy the day off, and head straight to the Ceeps.

It is wierd.
A few winters ago I was in Stratford and they had no snow and London had a couple feet. It's funny how that snow belt works.

My mothers family are all in the Stratford/Mitchell/St.Mary's area and driving up there from London on Christmas Day often was a bit of an adventure.

It isn't TO, and Mayor Mel isn't around anymore so I'm guessing not this time. London gets way more snow than Calgary, largely because of the lake effect.

I was living in Toronto during that particular dump of snow (Jan 99), and man, that was a lot of snow. It didn't seem to stop for two weeks.
On the plus side, I got some fantastic back muscles from shovelling for the older folks in the neighbourhood.
