I wouldn't say it's about being PC or not... the act just just simply childish and not the behaviour I expect from our MP's.

One can dislike and disagree with Bush all they want, but the bottom line is that he's the head of state of our biggest trade partner.

So what? We have nothing against mocking and satirizing our own politicians. I see no reason why Bush should be protected. It's not like he has shown any regard for Canada ever.

I seriously wonder if the same people who this upsets would have been upset if a conservative MP did it to Clinton during the Clinton years. Or if a small time politician in the U.S. did it to Chretien or Martin.

If a conservative MP did that too a Clinton doll, absolutely I would be calling for that MP's dismissal. As much as I dislike Clinton, I would expect members of parliment to act like professionals and adults.

Parrish is not one of them. Time and time again she's grand standed, time and time again she's come across as a whiney stupid child.

If I was in her riding I would be p*ssed, in fact I would be screaming at her to step down, not only because she's unprofessional, but because she can no longer be effective in representing my riding.

No matter what your feelings are, you don't basically burn the president of any friendly trading nation in effigy which is what this cow basically did.

You fight your battles in the parliment, not in the press.

ITs obvious that PArrish's next step is to write a book about her struggles against the Canadian Parlimentary system and the Liberal party.

Lets hope that Martin forces her right out of Parliment and back into private life where she can learn that her type of behavior will get her fired every single time.

It's one thing for TV personalities and people of those sorts to mock and satirize. That's their job. But our MP's have absolutely no place doing that sort of thing. It's not about protecting Bush, it's about members of the government conducting themselves appropriately and conveying their beliefs and ideas through the proper avenues.

I'm no fan of Bush myself, but I encourage our politicians to treat him with respect and communicate with him like an adult.
