That's over the top, but I do wonder about his mental/maturity in developing.

Zack Stortini played over 250 games in the NHL and he is crap. I don't agree the pool party is crap, but using NHL games as a metric isn't always the best water mark. Some teams are just no good and making the team is out of default rather than merit.

Taking a while to get to 5000

While I am more concerned with how Kekalainen avoided Puljujarvi, its worth pointing out that Edmonton is abysmal at developing prospects so anything we see out of the kid to this point could be wiped away after a year or so in a more nurturing environment.

My point was that hes Just played over a full seasons worth of games. Barely gotten started. His PPG is is close to Bennetts 241 games as well.
Just a little early to call him crap, especially since he just came to NA 2 years ago.

Hasn't he played the majority of his NHL games with McDavid as well? Bennett plays with the likes of Brouwer and Hathaway.

About 28% of the time last year and 23% of the time the year before, so no (at even strength).

If the Flames truly are looking to add a 1st, it's to flip it. It doesn't make sense to trade somebody like Fox for a 1st round pick and hope that pick turns out as good as Fox.

Yup. Crap. He's the sum of his parts, and those parts aren't very good. What does Pooparty do at a level that is considered "average"? Is he a great skater? Nope. Not a good skater at all. Has he got a wicked shot? Nope. Really below average shot. Is he a great playmaker? Nope. Passing is mediocre and his vision is average at best. Does he think the game well? Nope. Makes all those mistakes you expect someone that green to make. Is he a monster on the boards? Nope. Average player there, and that includes having a big frame where this should be his strength. Does he have a non-stop motor? Not really. Coasts as much as he digs. There is nothing that this kid does that is not just meh. To think there were people that actually thought he should go above Laine. Just shows you should really consider size advantage in junior leagues more than scouts do.

I don't know if Poolparty is crap but to me he looks like the Rene Bourque. Good size, skills, shot but not much hockey sense or smarts.

I don't know if I would call him a great skater, but he can go in straight line from Point-A to Point-B pretty fast.
