More likely he just wasn't legit good to begin with... lot's of guys can have one good go around the league but once the league figures them out it figures them out and that's it.

Compete free-fall since the Osuna incident. Obviously the issues run deeper than the bullpen, but man...it just sucks

5-17 over last 22. That is just putrid!
Thing is, they also have a 12-5 stretch. I know it's damn near impossible to envision, but they could have another solid run in them to get back to .500. Maybe that happens, Vladdy comes up and we see a complete turn around.

It's not likely, but.... what am I on?

Likely Gibby gets fired, the team revolts even more, fans stop caring and we have some truly dark years.

Hopefully they start jettisoning anything that isn't nailed down for pitching prospects. Get a lot of mud to throw at the wall.
Pillar, Estrada (if he builds some value), Pearce (if he gets healthy), Granderson, Donaldson (if he can get healthy and hot), Happ, Clippard, Axford.

Get Borucki up here, let Gaviglio continue to start, maybe even SRF after a few more successful AAA starts. Get Jansen, DSJ, Pompey and Gurriel up in the bigs full time.

Probably won't help them win many games, but I'd rather lose with youth than a bunch of 30+ year olds batting a buck whatever.

I'd probably even shop Stroman and Sanchez around, although it would suck to sell low on them at this point.

So the Jays used their 40th round pick (1196th overall) to draft a player who suffered a career ending injury this year.South Alabama's Drew LaBounty, whose career ended due to eye injury, selected in MLB draft

Happy for All our guys..they have meant so much to me and this program..but this kid here (Drew LaBounty), what he’s done can’t be measured. Thanks so much to Don Norris and the Toronto Bluejays for knowing. https://twitter.com/mlbdrafttracker/...96028656074753 …

			Nice 9th inning rally.
2 run double for Grichuk and an RBI single for Pillar ties it up at 4.

Too bad Solarte couldn't walk it off.

Is there no such thing as a sacrifice bunt anymore?
 1st and 2nd, 0 out.

Can't we ####ing bunt the guys over? It's the bottom of the 10th, you need one run to win the ####ing game. Not trying to put up a crooked number.

			Thank you Aledmys.
Always nice to have a walk off win, even in a ####ty season, and especially against the Orioles.

Vlad Jr. will not be coming up this year regardless of what he does. If the Jays bring him up paat AA this year I believe they lose a year of team control. He’ll start the season in AAA next year and will probably get the call next year around June (I think they also lose a year for the first couple months next year).
There’s some weird rules but my buddy is a rule geek and he was walking me through the scenarios. I was too drunk to take it all in.
