Ouch. Karma for ringing up Grandyman on an incorrect strike 3 call.

Two run dinger for Teo. Tie game.
Should be a 3 run dinger except for a blind umpire

Forget about playoffs. Hole is too deep to dig out of. We'll do well to finish ahead of the Rays at this point, and that is depressing.
This team is simply too ####ty.

Jays down 6-2 to start the 9th.
Get the bases loaded, Morales doubles in two runs.

6-4 with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd.

I'm sure they'll cut this rally short.

I can’t even watch anymore. I know they’re not winning anything but there’s not even any young developing guys to keep you interested. Our MLB roger is putrid. Sportsnet should start broadcasting Fisher cats games. I’d rather be watching that

Hopefully Alford quits sucking soon. He's having a terrible season so far. It would be nice to see more of him, Gurriel and Jansen shortly. Although Gurriel didn't really look that good in the bigs either.
Diaz and Grichuk will be back soon. Although that's a whole lot of meh too.

		| I watch every team on a quasi-regular basis because it's the responsible thing to do given my professional responsibilities. But watching the Jays this season has been, quite frankly, a bit of a chore. It's the oldest team in the majors and falling rapidly out of any hope for even wild-card contention. With old teams, the sense of a coming turnaround is hopelessly dulled. It's just not very interesting to watch, perhaps contributing to Toronto's MLB-worst 11,064-fan drop in per-game attendance.

Blue Jays have 6 prospects in the latest Baseball America top 100 prospect list:
 1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
 7. Bo Bichette
 57. Anthony Alford
 79. Nate Pearson
 81. Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
 96. Danny Jansen

Too bad Alford is sucking and Pearson is hurt, but it's still something I guess.

Hopefully Mayza can stick this time and develop into an elite lefty reliever. Love his stuff.
The JD situation is a disaster. We need him healthy and hot so we can salvage something for him as a rental at the deadline.

What's next? A Happ injury in mid July?
