As much as the PIMKing GoFundMe was a straight up scam, criminal and broke a lot of trust on this site, I thought it was a very interesting development and following it was like watching a detective film. His ex even made an account and was ready to answer questions before the Mods locked it up and shut it down (the right decision).

MMF had his doubts, eventually presented evidence that this was all a hoax, and then the entire plot unfolded. Squiggy and the Dink at it's finest.

That was one of the funniest things on this site ever.

Huge kudos for his sense of humour and willingness to go all the way on for the bit.

Ah yes, the PIMKing debacle. Good times.

What did MMF even get banned for? His posts leading up to the ban were pretty tame, did the mods just get sick of his posting style?

I don't know what he got banned for, but MMF repeatedly made disagreements personal. He just wasn't capable of playing the ball, not the man. Considering the number of warnings and temporary bans he collected over the years for personal attacks, I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.

I re-read that thread and I forgot just how bad it actually got for him. The racist rants on the steroids forum was particularly bad.

And the video Squiggs happened to find of him failing to remain "master of his domain".

Ya it was pretty shameful. It wasn't a huge loss for me, as I view the $20 I donated as admission to the clown show. But some members gave hundreds out of the goodness of their hearts. It's those people I feel bad for. Good people who genuinely wanted to help someone going thru a difficult time.

But in terms of an entertaining thread, it was definitely near the top.

With how things played out in the PIM thread, I saw my $20 donation as a kind of investment that really ended up paying off! That whole thing was pure gold. I wonder if Ian is still lurking around the internet trying to sell his sob story.

Didn't see sob story stuff, but he sure likes to talk about his Italian wife, and let everyone know she is from Sicily...

I would've hoped he had learned from that thread and turned his life around, but he still comes across as a dick on social media, traveling around the world living the high life. I don't want to dox him, but it looks like he has a kid now which is pretty sad.
