I sometimes try to see if I can remember which one is Dylan Mcdermott and which one is Dermot Mulroney and hurt my brain

I always wondered what would happen if I'm driving on the highway and put the transmission into reverse.

In newer cars? You might be fine.

In an older car? Bad things. Bad expensive to fix things. If you’re still alive that is.

I wonder if I could do some kind of roll/shimmy under a freight train to get to the other side of it, without dying. I ponderered that today, but I noticed a lot of low hanging bits between the cars that would probably snag me and kill me.

The owner's manuals should have that listed in a FAQ section...

Every time I handle something sharp I wonder how badly the device would cut me. Then I cringe.

Is there anything sweeter than when you swing a door closed behind you and it just ever so gently rolls over the latch, and makes not a sound but a light click, letting you know all is well?

I like Dermot Mulroney better.

Just had a really weird dream. I was returning my rental motorhome and trying to fill it up with gas. But I couldn't figure out where to stick the hose. And gas was streaming out everywhere. I stuck it in a hole in the ground. In a bird feeder I had hanging off the side. In the sewage tank. So weird. And frustrating.

Jim Carrey had a line in one of his early stand up routines where he said the only difference between crazy people and sane people, is that sane people could control the urges and fantasies in their head.
I think that's true. we all get them.

one of mine from years ago -
when I was a server, every time I went out on the floor with the coffee pot, I had the urge to bonk people in the head as I walked by.

This means you’re intelligent and think things through. There are lots of videos on YouTube of people laying under trains who I would argue lack this intelligence.

I guess since they were on Youtube, the people lived?

In general though, I like to abide by a simple rule - in the event of my untimely death, it will have been through no fault of my own.

I guess I would expect that somebody highly educated would speak closer to proper English.
I remember seeing something on TV many years ago about how someone's education level could be determined with a very high rate of success just from how they pronounce the word "nuclear."

I regularly think about how fun it would be to buy a one way ticket to a city in another country with a relatively low cost of living and try to make a life there and see how long I could last. Ensure your affairs are all closed in Canada before leaving, enable yourself with an approved visitor working visa and just go to a place like the Philippines where you can function fine speaking only English.

I think about how I would live off the land, if the economy or environment collapsed.

Whenever I'm in a supermarket bakery and see a French baguette I think about grabbing it and going up to a random person and smashing them with it.
