Agreed, I mean, hes got to work with a lot of Oilers so you cant condemn his results too much, you cant make bricks without clay.
But I do like that hes proactive in regards to managing his lineup and adaptation.
"If they're working then ride 'em hard, if they arent then switch 'em up."
Shut up Ferraro....McDavid has hardly been the most dangerous player of the tournament.

With all that ice to work with, you'd think he'd be more effective.

Big time. Yes, it changed direction a bit but if he is remotely in position he still stops that. Terrible goalie.
Edit: I was wrong, it beat him clean under the arm. Weak.

Time to double shift the Horvat line since McDummy's line hasn't produced squat.

Silly Hockey Canada, Oilers are for losers.
This is what happens when you try and go Full Oiler.
They know that they dont get a better draft pick for losing here dont they? Dont they?

What game is Ferraro watching?
"McDavid's has had Canada's best chances today other than Bo Horvat."
McDavid has 1 SOG. Hes been useless.

They don't even need draft picks as motivation anymore. It's just in their DNA.

I’ve watched a few games this week and I haven’t understood all the talk about him...or the over the top discussion. A couple good plays a game yes. The pass against the Russians was good, and the goal knocking it out of the air was special. But, if he’s so much better than the rest of the planet he sure hasn’t shown it, especially today. My expectation is, since he’s amazing and all, he should be able to singlehandedly destroy teams like Latvia but that’s not been the case.
Hopefully he does get better and looks amazing in this tournament for the next 10+ years.

Ferraro's gift is hyperbole. One of the reasons he is often good to listen to is how well he can fabricate a good story out of practically nothing.

Why would the Suiss be "nervous" about a line that has done absolutely nothing all game?

Its one of his finest qualities.
Have you ever met a sober Russian? Well, I know you havent because they are thing of myth and legend, but they're also the least fun Russians. Presumably.
