This looks really cool. It has a steampunk feel to it, and I love Jack Black and Cate Blanchette. And it's directed by...Eli Roth?! Definitely doesn't look like anything he's ever done.

The second one looks good but does his forehead troll make an appearance in it?

I love big, dumb movies, and this one definitely looks like a big, dumb movie.

It does indeed at that. The biggest part about movies like this is that they dont take themselves too seriously.

When can we get a live action Timmy and the Lords of Darkness movie.

I'll probably go and see this movie when it comes out, I'm a huge Queen fan.

Also noticed that Timmy from Jurassic Park is in this.

Does Mike Meyers do movies without prosthetics anymore?

I’d like to see both movies - a grittier one where Cohen was free to portray the full range of Freddie’s wild life. And the sanitized movie that highlights the strengths of Queen.

What I liked about the Doors movie is it combined both. Why not both here. The story of Freddy Mercury is just as interesting as the story of Queen and their musical inspiration.

The surviving members didn't want a Freddie Mercury biopic. They wanted a Queen one.

I'm all over the puppet concept, Greg the Bunny and Puppets that kill were brilliant and puppet based comedy can be really over the top.

I just don't find Melissa McCarthy that funny in doses over 3 minutes long. That alone will probably make this a must wait for it to show up on movie central.
