If you have normal vision, it's no problem to follow the play even from row 13 where I am. It does suck however not being able to see the jumbotron from up there.
This was my first year STH so no second level pairs (Row 11+) were available (there were some triples). Only pairs were Red's which were $10k+ for the pair, and didn't feel like spending that much.
Hopefully some Blues/Whites pop up for me in the relocation event next month. I WOULD like to go to the second level this coming season however - one year of PL's was kind of enough for me though - Most people who are up there don't really watch the game and are mostly chatting amongst themselves the entire time, kind of annoying.

Anyone else have discrepancies when it comes to the credit on their account selling tickets on the NHL Ticket Exchange? Every year I seem to have a small one, but this year it is very significant. $692.08 to be exact, which may be only one game for some people, but for row one in the PL it works out to almost the cost of two tickets for 14 games.
I keep every email when I sell a game on the Exchange and keep a spreadsheet to track which games are sold and which games I attended or traded. Really wish the Flames would keep this info current on your account for you to view at anytime. The fact that they don't give you access makes me really suspicious.

We have them send us cheques, and I keep a separate savings account for the Flames money.

Very much so. In the grand scheme of things, ever since the arena conversations started, in the back of my mind the plan was always to ride it out and use my seniority to hopefully cherry pick up some new seats for the first year. Once the new arena smell is gone I'll re-evaluate things. I will have been a STH for close to 25 years by time that happens. It just may be the right time to move on.

Interesting that the current renewal rate based on the poll is 86%. If that carries through to the general fan base, then that is definitely a significant drop from previous years. Should be a lot of options for moving seats for those that do renew.

I was going to ask the same question. I contacted my account rep about the discrepancy but she hasn't gotten back to me yet.
You can double-check your total on the older NHL Ticket Exchange website (you can even download a spreadsheet with the info of each sale): https://www.ticketsnow.com/NHL/MyAccount/Login.aspx

In my row 2 PL seats I am dreading the new stadium, as I know it likely means I won't be getting seasons tickets any more. I love hockey, but I also love a lot of other things that I love and that I'm not willing to take out of the budget for when ticket prices skyrocket.

Still leaning towards renewing, albeit very angrily .... But I've let my Hitmen tickets & Hitmen parking pass go. The Flames price increase needed to be offset by something.

Don't personally have ST, but a lady in my office does and says they are not renewing.
She says not entertaining enough to justify the price and time committment. They were also surprised by the amount of increase for next year, considering the product.

Pretty sure we are done too, and the lady we sit next to. Should free up 4 quality seats.
Price increase was borderline insulting after that #### show of a season, definitely won’t miss the tickets. Will watch on tv I’m sure though and buy the odd ticket if we feel like it.

I was fully expecting to be priced out of the new arena by now.

One thought. With the Flames and Bruins doing preseason in China, does that mean less home preseason games? Should that be reflected in the pricing or will there still be the same 4 home preseason games?

There'll probably still be 4 home preseason games. Just two of them will be half the squad with no NHL regulars...

Last year Vancouver only had 3 home preseason games.

That's an excellent question - I would love to know the answer to that too!

Got the answer... called my rep and the schedule for home is identical with four preseason games. The two preseason games over in China are apparently two ADDITIONAL games added to their schedule, so there is no impact to our package.
Too bad. I would have been happier with fewer preseason games to offset the price increase.

The Flames are going to find a way to get 4 home pre-season games in, no matter what. The revenues are too large to let slip away.

If anything, they'll just play fewer road games in the preseason.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Usually end of June for the schedule. Right around the awards.
