I think Marchand kind of gave up on the play expecting a penalty. He had the angle and a few steps but stopped skating.

Sucks to see a 112 point regular season go up in smoke because your goaltender can't make a save but as Flames fans know well it doesn't matter if you outplay your opponent if your goaltender can't make expected saves you have no chance.

Still half a game to play. With the way the goals are going in, I think the final score of this one will end up being something like 6-5 or 7-6. Both teams look like garbage. Leafs have just been more opportunistic.
