Honestly, I just hope the games become exciting to watch again.

I bet I tuned into fewer than 10 games this year. They were just all so boring.

Highlighted Gio/Dougie as elite.

Reiterated Brodie has had success on the right side, believes Hamonic will have a good 2nd year.

Mentioned Stone, Kulak, and Andersson stepping up after dominating the AHL and realistically being a PP QB on the 2nd pair.

Also ran through about every forward and his understanding of their play and potential going forward.

Bennett: we need to figure out what is he but that he's an important piece (just look at how good he was in the Anaheim series).

Literally just ran through the entire roster and AHL depth, without having a roster in front of him. Very clearly impressed the Fan guys.

The Bennett experiment may continue. No doubt because Peters isn't familiar with him but whether he's a center or wing for next season remains to be unseen.

It seems like he is very familiar with the Flames, both in the NHL and the AHL. Holy smokes.

He also seems very knowledgeable about statistics.

Also, I heard Andersson is going to be in Calgary is going to be in the NHL. I also heard Brodie RS again.

I don't want players that are easily intimidated.

Peter's HATES penalties that Dougie Hamilton takes. He didn't name names but he rattled off the penalties that Dougie takes regularly.

Honestly, this should not even be a question. Mostly because we don't need Bennett to be a centre. We do need a good winger. So make that his role, and let him focus on it from day one.

The thing I like so far is he emphasizes playing to strengths and adapting. That alone should be big for this group.

Asked about criticism last year about not changing an ineffective PP. He said if the PP isn't working, you have to change it, pointless not to.

Also specifically mentioned talking to the players and where they like to be on a PP, what plays they like to make, etc.

I beg posters to listen to this Peter's interview when they can today. It's clear as day this is a mental upgrade. You're not going to be left wanting when you listen to Peter's.

Sounds like he specifically hates offensive zone penalties, so he's basically talking about Bennett.

I think so too, but maybe they are considering roster moves that might dictate Bennett back at C next year.

I don't think Peters would bring it up if he hadn't already had internal conversations with management about the player.
