The reffing quality is honestly taking away from the quality of the product.
I really have no skin in this series, but it's maddening watching the brutal calls and/or non calls. This has been a great entertaining game, tarnished by replacement level reffing.
That was classic NHL. Can't call an obvious penalty because that team just finished a PP. That's supposed to be how hockey works: A team gets on it's heals, takes a penalty, still feels pressure takes another penalty.
The NHL will always ignore that in favour of writing their own script. Just stupid.

Would like to see the non call again; thought it was a dive on live viewing.
It looked 100% intentional on Letang after he ran Couturier into the post to get the previous penalty that he somehow didn't think he deserved.

Can't call Letang again. That would be unfair!
Refs deciding the game hockey bs

I'm shocked Philly players aren't getting into Murray's kitchen.
It's a huge rivalry, and the series is clearly done, so they should be sending a message for next season.

As long as you don't mean intentionally hurting him I agree. Snow shower him every chance you get. Run into him here and there. etc.
I'm not particularly cheering for either team, but I probably would have thrown something on the ice out of disgust. Never even thought of doing it before, but that was brutal.
I wish here was a way to make the refs accountable after the games. This is absolutely infuriating.
The NBA does this, but I've come to the realization that it isn't what you think it is. At first fans said "this is great, some accountability". What it really is though is a league that creates storylines and wants big city/big ratings teams on top.
So they parade their officials in front of the media to list off their mistakes and explain them, even though everyone knows they make the same "mistakes" every game.
It's actually very similar to resort countries like Mexico who will parade a "criminal" out to the media whenever there is an on-resort attack that gains international attention.
