I also think I heard 960 guy say that he asked a coach in the east and he was scratching his head with what Tre was trying to accomplish. I only heard a bit as I was getting in the car so if anyone can fill in that would be great.

If he is announced the coach, I will make my point of not liking the hire and then move to being supportive. It wasn't until game 30ish last year where I was in full on fire GG mode and I am not about to enter a season in fire mode with a coach who hasn't proven to be consistently good or bad.

I will say that whoever comes in is Trelivings sword to fall on. I think Tre has done an amazing job but if this doesn't pan out, it is tough to imagine him back next year. Knowing that, you would assume he is doing everything possible to get the best guy. Ownership not prepared to pay AV? Some sour grapes with Daryl? outside of these 2, there arent any standout choices.

Carolina was fine letting Peters go when he could have still coached the team for another year. We should be waiting for at least 1, maybe 2 more playoff rounds to make a final decision.

Guess I'm late. But as an MD doctor, I see a Chiro myself and have encouraged my wife to go. Actually went to med school with a couple ex-chiros who wanted to add a different flavour to their job / business. Somebody who has trained to the point of being a bonafide expert in their field, and handles the health of the general public as a health professional, they're a doctor. Not an MD, the same way I'm not a DC.

No intent to offend, just one guys opinion based on what I believe are facts.

A PhD isn't a prerequisite to earning the title of doctor. Even medical doctors aren't PhD's. They are MD. But PhD is a doctorate, yes. DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) is another variant. JD (Juris Doctorate), or a law degree, is yet another.

It's offensive to those who have put in the work and time to become a doctor in their field/discipline for those who are too ignorant to know better to spout nonsense about what is and isn't a doctor.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Was just listening to a bit of Kerr's show from yesterday, and it sounds like the Rangers are looking at a couple of coaches from the NCAA that they're currently high on. So I guess we're not the only team looking to roll the dice on an unproven coach.

Listening to Bill Waters on the radio, he says the way Peters and GG deal with players is night and day. GG was a players coach. Peters ain’t. Some players are in for a shock.
