Joosen? The organ guy? Dont blame him that Canyon is the absolute worst anthem singer ever. Fire Canyon I can get on board with that.

I hope Gulutzan finds a role suited to him and that he is successful.
He seems a really great guy, but this is best for everyone.

Crazy thought: maybe you’re wrong, and the decision even today isn’t as clear cut as you believe it was in November.
As fans, we have a simplified perspective of what is going on, we need to accept that. Was Gulutzan hockey boring? Am I glad he’s gone? Yes and yes. But if you’re saying you had enough info to make a call after a playoff season and 10 games, you’re absolutely advocating for a knee-jerk reaction.
If you believe this team is a lot better than it is, and coaching is solely to blame, I think you’re missing something. It’s a part, but now that we’ve gone a full season we know better what the problems ARE, and it extends beyond the coach.
Fire him in November and if the Flames don’t perform, people shrug it off as “adjusting to a new coach/system.” You weren’t saving this season in November, as far as I can tell.

AV will most likely be back coaching next season because he enjoys it and he'll get more than $8 million during the next two seasons with a new contract.

Kerr on the Fan saying that the reactions on the text line are mixed, which I thought was bizarre, considering probably 99% of fans on CP are beyond happy with this decision.

And in April we're firing the coach anyways and theres nothing left to save.
Oooh....see how the exact same logic can be applied right back to you?
Anyways, nothing happens if you dont try.

It certainly feels that way, although I would bet that the numbers are actually more mixed and have been skewed by a number of very vocal posters.

I won't miss his post game pressers though. I can't count how many times I heard " Just wasn't prepared tonight" "Soild 20 but sat back for the last 40" "Unlucky bounces, just didn't go our way tonight" "Slow starts was our downfall again"

Dont most existing coaching contracts end when they sign with a new team? it's not like a player whos bought out and can "double dip" is it?
guess it depends on the wording in each contract.

No. Just no.
The Flames should NEVER be taking their cues from that abomination of an organization up North.

Hold on, why are we worrying about the organ player? I thought Bev was this team's problem?
