Yup. He's been skating and taking part of warm ups, but hasn't played a game yet. My bet is we don't see him until round 2, especially if the Sharks can wrap this up in 4.

Seeing the ducks lose 8-1 is one of the best things I have seen in the playoffs so far. I only caught the third period, but was expecting even dirtier play than the standard cross-check at every opportunity. I am amazed they did not goon it up more losing that badly- is Kesler playing hurt? Ducks are still dirty, just not as passionate about it for some reason.

I think they're still just as dirty. The Sharks just don't take any of their crap and aren't intimidated by it.

Sharks torched the Ducks on the PP, that's how you deal with the cheap stuff make them pay on the scoreboard. I think the Sharks scored 4 straight on the PP.

Man, the Sharks are to the Ducks in this series like the Ducks are to the Flames. Men against boys.

Ducks look old and slow. Sharks skating circles around them. That score was glorious.
Great night of hockey. Can't say I am unhappy with any of the outcomes.

But why they don’t switch over on one of the SN regional channels is beyond me. What’s the point in having 4 of them if they can only show the same thing all the time?
|
It was ridiculous that SN couldn't show the beginning of the Preds-Avs game. The game could've started on SN1 because the Blue Jays game was postponed and the Bruins-Leafs game was on to fill in the empty air time. Like Cecil posted, SN360 had WWE and SN was showing the Bolts-Devils game. Taking 1 of the regional channels away from that game doesn't work because some viewers in that region only get that channel as they don't subscribe to all 4 SN regional channels. Hopefully, TSN never gets the national contract. They screwed up many games over time too.

I think the Sharks scored on their 1st shot in their game.

Boy that was one of the worst first round evenings I can remember. Boston, Tampa, and Nashville up 2-0 in their series all let their foot off the gas pedal and got handled and the Ducks effort wasn't even worth of a participation ribbon.

The Boston game was pretty competitive. I never thought they'd sweep the Leafs.

The first several games of this first round of the playoffs has reminded me of just how incredibly difficult it is to win on the road in the post season. But what I did see last night was that Boston was a hell of a lot better in Toronto than Toronto was in Boston. I think Boston can win tomorrow, I don't believe that the Maple Leafs can win a game in Boston.
