Why have two games on at the same time when they all could have been staggered?

Blue Jays on at 2pm. Raptors open their NBA playoff series at 330pm. And the the Chinese Grand Prix F1 race tonight at midnight.
Basically 12 straight hours of sports today. Time to work on that ass groove.

Well F1 is on TSN so that wouldn't affect scheduling.
edit: Wait, were you responding to the guy above you or just laying out your TV watching schedule for the day? It was probably the latter wasn't it?

?? What do you mean?
Edit: oh nm I see. My post was in general. Wasn’t meant to be a response to the question above.
Yeah I’m not sure why it isn’t a quadruple header, with only minimal overlap. NBC doesn’t appear to have anything else scheduled that’s important other than local news.

Haha, see edit. I was thinking it was a sportsnet broadcasting issue due to how many sports they're showing today and figured you were laying this out for him. Doh!

*I think its more organized if people chat in the separate series threads instead of the OOT. Keeps discussion of series focused in their threads.

I feel the opposite. Series threads get too long and cluttered if they act as daily GTs.
One OOT per day works for me - there are rarely more than one or two games on at the same time.

The bigger confusion is why the Leafs/Bruins at 6? 5pm is pretty standard and now it's guaranteed to go into the Ducks/Sharks game. Makes no sense to me.

Which is understandable but I’m gonna be flipping back and forth and it’s easier to just follow this thread. If something exciting happens I’ll know to switch back. Or I can comment on both without changing threads.

No way. It actually used to be that way and posters specifically went to the one thread format because series discussion just wasn't happening in individual threads.
As silly as it sounds as we're all just scrolling and clicking, it was like half the posters going to the trouble of switching threads just to make an observation and every series thread pretty much died.

This is precisely why I like one OOT thread - much easier to find out what's going on and jump to the other game (I was watching Tampa)

I'm watching a maintenance crew work on fixing the bolt on the gate. Riveting stuff here in Tampa Bay.

Everyone knows those gates dont have rivets.
What year do you think this is? 1818?

You ever thought of working the circuit as a comedy duo? I set 'em up, you knock 'em down? We could be a modern day Abbott and Costello.

Were the Predators fans booing a player for getting hit in the face with a puck?

I had no clue that Keith Kinkaid earned the starting job away from Schneider. I know Schneider was injured for a while, so he must not be quite right still. His stats down the stretch were not nearly as good as Kinkaid's.
So far Kinkaid looks pretty good. Lots of pressure by the Lightning so far and Kinkaid has been ready for the challenge.
