Maybe BT is not secure. Maybe BB is telling him to defer so that new GM can pick his guys.

I am still assuming Gulutzan is gone. It took Treliving a while to fire Hartley, and I think when Treliving joined the Flames, he didn't want Hartley as the coach. It took him quite a long time to re-sign him amid media pressure to do so.
Treliving is all about the process. Until I hear (surprising) news about Gulutzan being retained, I will assume it is only a matter of time.

I feel the biggest meltdown in CP history would be if they did keep GG and went through another mediocre preseason and poor start. I don't even want to think about how bad things would get. As miserable as this season was, keeping Gulutzan and going through another season of this hockey would probably be the breaking point for a lot of fans.

Yup. I'm already dangerously close to my breaking point. This was easily the most annoying and disappointing season I've experienced as a Flames fan in well over a decade. I'm honestly not sure if I can stomach another season of that crap. I'll never stop cheering for the team to succeed, but my interest in watching the games will be minimal at best if this coaching staff is allowed to continue.

Ya, I don't tend to get dramatic about things, but I did stop watching... my overall interest just died off... kinda sad... at least my fitness level is higher than previous seasons 😋

Any reports on how well he's doing in Moose Jaw??
I've only read good things about his time as an asst in Toronto and San Jose

The Flames should've hired him as assistant instead of Goddamn Cameron, then they could just fire GG and promote Hunter. |

If GG is fired, I will watch next year. If he is not fired, I will watch next year. Why? Because I love the Flames and these players. You are not special or cool by saying you are not going to watch
