The Internet auction house eBay Inc. reversed itself Tuesday and is allowing bids for half of a 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich that its owner says bears the image of the Virgin Mary.
Top bid is $22,000.
Do you think this is a new racket by the atheist conspiracy?

In a year, when everyone forgets about this, I am going to poop out a coil in the image of Jesus and sell it on ebay.

Psst... I don't think those bids are real! Just a rumor I heard
|
It sounds like they are taking precautions to verify the bids are actually valid now.
Quote:
All bidders must be on a pre approved bidder list, to get on that list you must email me prior to bidding, eBay is not allowing you to bid unless you do so, eBay is watching this auction very closely and veryifying all bids, An eBay official will be calling you, if you are bidding! if you bid and you retract the bid, you may be subject to concequences at eBay's discretion!

you know, he probably spent more on the amount of aluminum foil he used to make that stuff, than he would ever make in selling it.
Not to mention the ebay fees, the shipping and hadling.
That guy must of thought there where some really stupid people out there.

Looks like some people are out to prove Darwin's theory of evolution was flawed.
16 bids and $70 000 dollars for two slices of bread and a piece of cheese?! No wonder the world is where it is today when people are willing to shell out $70 000 for a damn sandwich. Half a sandwich!...

this is so funny, i cant believe it!!!
you KNOW a region has collectivly too much jack($) when they can start mad bidding on a 10 year old sandwich??
I dont car whos face is on it, its still just some old bread, and moldy cheese, sh** just draw a face on some bread with a sharpie, same thing only costs $70, 000 less.
