Not sure how you figure that, Bus was going North, semi was going west. Stop signs were for East/ West traffic. Bus could have hit the semi but the semi would've proceeded illegaly through the intersection. Either way it doesn't matter at this point and for all the victims, and their families it never will.

The front of the bus is obliterated and the front of the semi seems relatively intact. Plus the semi driver was uninjured.

Regardless of who hit who, its quite relevant who had the stop sign and who didnt.

Not saying anything about who had the stop sign, just that the carnage looked like the bus hit the semi.

I've seen a few tweets from the billet families of the kids, and those are what are killing me now.

This is just gut wrenching. The Calgary Tower will be lit up with Bronco colours tonight. I'm just devastated.

Something about this is just devastating me. I love hockey, but more than that I love the locker room, hangin with the guys, etc. It’s so difficult to explain but this tragedy has really struck me. Just so gutted by it.

Jesus. Colby Armstrong just looked devastated on HNIC. From Saskatoon. No doubt had made that trip to Nipawin playing minor hockey as a kid. Really tough to watch.

This entire day has been nothing but onions. Babcock super emotional all day, the interviews with the Flame players talking about it, the HNIC opening. The Jets and Hawks tribute at the start of the game was a beaut and the namebars amazing. After the first Jets goal the shot of the guy in a Humboldt jerseys who celebrates the goal and then hugs his daughter (perhaps a little tighter than he normally would). Coaches corner with a tribute all the way through with both Don and Ron trying to hold it together.
It’s a nothing game for us tonight but I’m...happy or glad (such terrible words but the only ones to say) I’m going tonight as a way to pay respect to The Broncos. Terrible events like this don’t always hit me but this one did...it must be the Saskatchewan roots in me that’s coming to the surface.
Today we are all Broncos.
