100% agree on Foo. We've got something here. Doesn't look out of place in the least. And this was game 2.

I also agree that the Flames need a vet to take half the starts from Smith. Raanta could be that guy. Hutton could be that guy. Regardless of who it is the Flames should be prepared to pay for him in free agency.

Raanta would be the most important UFA the Flames should sign ... well ever.

He has a much better track record than Smith that the Flames were happy to go 4.25 for an aging goalie with a losing record over the last 4 year.

I doubt that the Flames could unload Smith but the plan should be that Raanta should be the #1

Time for the Flames to be ahead of the curve rather than be chasing guys that were on their down-side.

For the first time since Kipper retired, goaltending wasn't the issue this season. One could even argue it wasn't the issue last year. Sure, Elliott #### the bed in the playoffs, but for GG to pull him so early in game 4 wasn't Elliott's malfunction.

Bad coaching which has manifested itself in a lack of heart are the big rocks.

good for Foo, it was fun seeing his parents in the stands when he played game 1. Hopefully he can turn into a steady NHL'r for next season.

I think Smith was a big improvement on Elliot last year, but he was far from flawless. His poor play on home ice was a big reason for the Flames's terrible record at the Dome. I hope that this is something that is rectified for next year.
