No, Tkachuk is Line #2, the RW and C spots need to be revamped.

I haven't minded Bartkowski-Andersson as a pairing. MUCH better than Bartkowski-Engelland or Bartkowski-Stone.

Backlund may still be our best defensive center, but if you can’t also generate goals he could be the next Stajan sooner then any of us want.

I agree, but I'm making the argument that the center position won't be changed. A freshly signed Backlund and a Janko with a season under his belt will probably play that role, unless the new coach decides to put Bennett back at center.
