Congratulations to the Stone family. Twins and a baby boy in one calendar year.

Gonna be wild times in the household.

I just don't get how the Flames have handled Bennett, our highest draft pick ever. I mean come on. Brouwer on the second line? What a joke.

What makes the team better in the long term: Bennett remembering he's a 4th overall pick, or Shakapotamus playing second line time during the last few meaningless games of the season?

Seriously. GG et al. Pack your bags and go. I you need help, I'll make myself available.

The only person to blame for Bennetts awful season is Bennett. They have played him on Backlunds line and johnny's line.... other than 1 game he looked like a bottom 6 forward. Sorry but Brouwer has looked. Enter than Bennet on Backlunds line. GG is giving Foo a chance with Johnny, which I like.

I can't believe people are actually melting down about the line combinations, who the #### cares. Now's the time to try some ####.

Shore was not good. I watched that game and it was horrible. They created nothing.

Put Janko or Bennett or even Lazar on that line instead. Show us what you can do. Shore is a throwaway in my mind, an AHL'er next year at best.

Hard to admit, but this is the truth of the matter. Excuses for Sam are running out. He has been one of, if not the most, disappointing Flames players this year.

Take away the '4th overall' label and replace it with '4th round selection', he's in the AHL.

Yeah I've liked Nick Shore ... he's actually looked more talented than his stats to date (in Calgary and LA) would dictate.

I'd guess the numbers don't lie and he's a bottom roster player going forward, but he's smart and doesn't hurt you on the ice. Ideal fourth line center for next season.

But I certainly don't mind testing him out in a greater role given the circumstances and injuries.

Lol

Bennett is the only player in the bottom six that would crack the roster of an actually good team

He isn't good but he's on a completely higher level than the rest of the guys he usually plays with

Based on what? Outside a few stretches, he's looked horrible in the offensive zone this year.

Listening to Loubardias it's clear he is friends with Gulutzan and doesn't want him let go. I'm not pining for anyone to get fired but I want the style of play to change. This current style of play is no bueno.

I actually like Shore. He's a good foot soldier and isn't going to embarrass himself in his own zone. I think him as our 4th line center next season would be perfectly fine.

Shore was good. You're the only one to disagree. He had a corsi over 60%. The highest of the team in that game.
