This is true, you take any team that is built to be 15-20th in the league on their best day and remove their top 3 scorers, 3rd dman and starting goalie and they would look pretty bad.

You're always comparing to the oilers. Who cares about the oilers? There is no excuse for this level of offensive futility.
The Flames style of play is horrid. It's not bad luck. Shutout so many games and just one tonight. Awful.

I’m not necessarily saying you’re wrong ... I’m saying we’ve used the same ‘great effort! Poor result’ line for almost 2 years now - regardless of lineup.
