I was a season ticket holder from 2000-01 till 2011-12 and glad I gave them up. Have not been down to the dome since and don't miss it. Felt like I was getting ripped off at the concessions then I would hate to see the prices now.
I like being able to turn off the tv when the game is terrible and do something more enjoyable instead of being stuck at the rink. Glad to take the family south to Mexico or Cuba during the winter with my money for a week or two instead of spending it on Flames tickets.

I think for a lot of people, me included, season tickets are beneficial for playoff games. Thats what got me into my seats. Knowing you have your tickets for all of the rounds. It is nice going to the same seats for every game in the regular season as well. As has been mentioned, resale has been horrible. I'm in the boat of no renewal with the current coaching staff.

I have only had season tickets for 2 seasons and I am going to co tiniest as I do believe this team can bounce back next year with the right moves.
One thing that’s irks me a bit is I received a lot of invites for some events and experiences. Watch a road game in the Chrysler club with food and refreshments on the Flames. There were a few other invites for neat things.
This year I haven’t heard a peep from an Account Manager on anything pertaining to my experience as a season ticket holder. They seem to have mailed it in just like the team
News flash. When your product sucks (which it has ALL year at the Dome) maybe try and provide some customer service and check in once and a while. Not asking for a ton of freebies but try and have a relationship.
The only benefits I see is guaranteed playoff seats and a couple times in the summer they do the session at the Dome with food/booze and questions with management.

Did you not get your early access to the Rod Stewart tickets yesterday? Nothing says sorry our products sucks and no playoff like front of the line access to a Rod Stewart concert!

I thought maybe I was on the outs with the team for some reason, as I haven't gotten invites to anything this season. Maybe they decided to spend less on STH events this year. If you ask Ken King they have a "high 90s" renewal rate and "years long" waiting list, so maybe they don't need those of us who have been buying for years.
Edited to add: did get Rod Stewart presale...

There is no waiting list for season tickets and i bet very few new accounts looking to sign on after this train-wreck of a season. A low 90s renewal rate would equate to 1,600 seats, which I think would be a disaster for the flames and lead to attendance in the low 17,000 over the next season.

The thread they really needed the link to was the one where 70% of CP had figured out that GG needed to be fired before Xmas, back when there was still time to salvage the season. Then this thread would be a lot more positive.

On the eve of the last game of my ticket pack, I'd like to highlight what that experience has been like so far this year. Bearing in mind for context that the Flames' record at home is presently 15-18-4 (i.e. win 40% of the time). I know, I know, the other games matter too but I don't watch much hockey on TV so they haven't really coloured my impressions in the same way.
Here's the slate of games and record for Game Pack C:
Oct 19 vs CAR 2-1 loss
Oct 27 vs DAL 2-1 loss
Nov 7 vs VAN 5-3 loss
Dec 2 vs EDM 7-5 loss
Jan 4 vs LAK 4-3 win
Jan 20 vs WPG 2-1 loss
Feb 3 vs CHI 4-3 win
Feb 29 vs CBJ ???
That record "feels" like when you only win 29% of the time.
I attended two other losses live on other people's tickets, but I'll account for those separately. For those of my friends who only half-jokingly say I'm cursed, it sure feels that way as 2 wins in 9 games is only 22%.
In about half the losses, the Flames played well and the game was somewhat entertaining, but in the other half the play was uninspired - missing passes, bobbling pucks, no forecheck pressure. I have seen the Flames give up a goal on the first shot against. I have seen the flames give up the lead and lose in the final few minutes of regulation. The team's mental fragility is apparently catching, as I now go to games expecting them to lose.
Winning 40% of the time has been bad enough, but try experiencing this season with the Flames only winning 22% of the time when you're paying attention. Am I going to renew my tickets for next year, Mr. King? Mr. Edwards? Jim Mora comes to mind.
Also, I am clearly cursed and the Flames are definitely going to lose tonight.

I found this quite erratic from year to year. Some years it was two invites, others it was none. I think it really depends on your account rep, and then when they quit it may take a long time for someone else to pick up your account.

On the Flames website, under Tickets, click on "Saddledome Seating Map". Under the seat map, there's a list of prices. Look in the "Season" column.
That's the per game, per seat price for that seating area. Multiply by 45 (and possibly add 5% for GST) to get the total cost for the season.
Those are likely this season's prices. Expect a 3-5% increase for next season.

I was invited to a pregame event with a meal, drink tickets, they mega upgraded my seats and had a draw and stuff this year. First time in 5 years of having tickets lol. It was really awesome, don't get me wrong.
