I can't remember a more disheartening time in 34 years as a Flames fan. In the Young Guns era at least you could blame the chronic mediocrity on the unfairness of a pre-cap league. Today, between ownership's obnoxious attitude about the arena, management leaving us with no picks, ineffective coaching, and a core group of players that wilts under any pressure, it's hard to muster any enthusiasm at all for this franchise.
