I haven't been watching since the 2-0 goal, but I've still been following the GT. Is Smith still in? WTF??

Personally, I'd let Glen go on the spot for the last two games.
Made a joke out of our team with his lack of any professional coaching skills. Two hat tricks served up on a platter in two consecutive games at the most important time with nothing from GG to stem the tide. Nothing. He's stubborn to a fault and then some. Clueless.

Sooo, Fleury is saving shots with the back of his leg. Certainly the boys can score 5 in the third.

I am saying that it had everything to do with it. I am saying that TJ Brodie is a damn good player playing for Glen Gulutzan and Paul Jerrard. You can drive the Brodie and Schultz's out or you can fix the problem.

Well part of that is that missing the playoffs doesn't "mean" what it used to mean. With all this parity in the league, very good teams (not saying I'd call the Flames that) miss each year, versus what it was 10 years ago. All you have to do is look at some of the notable teams like Winnipeg that didn't make it last year, or some teams that went far last year, Ottawa, who aren't going to make it.
Don't get me wrong, generally the really good teams find a way to rise up, but the 2nd tier of teams can just as easily make it as miss and it doesn't really mean you've taken the step back it would have likely meant a decade ago.

Won’t be surprised to hear after the season that the coach lost the room.

Hopefully the team calls up Andersson and Kylington and we get a chance to see them now that we're done.

Joke would be on you when you see what side they play him on if he's goes to another team.

My prediction for tomorrow night. AZ will get 4 goals on 16 shots. And one of their guys will get a hat trick. Might as well make it three games in a row.

Would at least be entertaining, unlike what we are seeing now.

Or put 5 D's on the PP like Dave King used to do when he's pissed at the players' efforts.

If they could package Bennett and Brodie for a top 6 RW and a 2nd round pick they should do it.

Lol, you’re saying to completely ignore his previous seasons then? Cool. In the same vein then, the Avs should’ve probably traded Mackinnon in the off-season. I mean, he only put up 0.60 points per game the 3 previous seasons before this one. Those are the only ones that count then right? See how stupid that sounds?

So you are saying the negative black hole that is TJ Brodie whom everybody on this board besides yourself can see is terrible in his own end, a turnover machine, out of position constantly, and gets walked constantly is a damn good player? Do you even believe half the things you say on this board or are you just looking for reactions?

The coach will be done. The team has been too inconsistent I think for him to save his job (baring a miracle push into the playoffs and then a subsequent deep run). To be honest, I'm glad the Flames didn't pull the trigger and fire him before the end of the year in an attempt to save the season, because there are other issues that need to be addressed as well (meaning I don't think this team is simply a coaching upgrade away from being a true contender). Much better to evaluate, see what becomes available this offseason and go out and try to get the guy you really want.
