Default March 16, just five games.

The Friday OOT will be rocking as four of the games involve teams the Flames are chasing. Make sure to have the beer, munchies, and other vital stuff close by!

The Capitals and Islanders are tied 0-0 with the number one goalies in net. It is a big game for Washington as their division is a five team race.

The Stars-Senators is about to begin!

Seguin scores on the power play in the first period, still 1-0 Stars midway through the second period m

The power play goal trend continues, the Capitals and Islanders score in the second period and it is 2-1 Washington.

The senators win in overtime, 3-2.

The Predators lead 3-2 late in the third period, just scored an empty net goal to make it 4-2!

Nashville has clinched a playoff spot. Hard to believe the Flames finished ahead of the Preds last season.

Its a fine line...they had poor/average goal tending for half a season last year

The good

4 at 2

The Avs remain 4 points up on the Flames. The Predators simply look unbeatable as they are 13-0-1 in the past 14 games. The Avs had 35 shots on net, but, Saros was solid in net for the Predators. Forsberg and Sissons each had 2 goals for Nashville.

The bad

2 at 3 in overtime

The Senators took a 2-1 lead with 3:10 left in regulation and then Pitlick tied it with 1:48 left. Hoffman scored the GWG in OT thankfully. The Stars have only 1 win in their past 7 games which includes 3 OT/SO losses.

The ugly

2 at 4

This game had a rivalry feel to it as there were 3 fights. The Red Wings are on a 9 game losing streak with 1 point in that stretch.

4 at2

The Knights are going to hell at home as the visiting teams are starting to hit the jackpot. The Knights lose their 4th straight at home and that is after they get blown out 2 nights earlier with an 8-3 loss to the Devils. Zucker gets a goal and an assist in his home town, the crowd cheered loudly when he scored the game's 1st goal.

Doesn't matter

The Capitals sweep the home-away series and Braden Holtby played better in net for the win. He was the back up goalie for the past 4 games. Chiasson had 3 points for the Capitals. Both teams each scored 3 PPGs.

I can't argue with that prediction. No team looks strong enough to beat them in a best of 7 series. Their back up goalie is very capable in case Rinne gets injured.
