Coaches like that don’t become available very often so when they do, you’re looking at a potential franchise defining move. Hopefully the ownership sees it the same way.

I would be ecstatic with either but I also think both the Hawks and Rangers would be foolish to part with these guys as they will not find better replacement coaches.

I completely agree but who knows what those teams ownership might do after failing to miss the playoffs. They may want a fresh face. Stranger things have happened but you’re right, probably just wishful thinking on my part.
