You’re right. In health care they call it multi system failure. Everything is f@&$#% up all at once.

The really hard thing about this game, which has been stated by everyone repeatedly, is that the Flames having nothing to look forward to once they’re eliminated. They have given up so many draft picks over the next couple years. The funny thing is Treliving felt so confident this team would make the playoffs he didn’t lottery protect the puck. You know what could make this worse? If the Flames pick wins one of the top 3 picks and Treliving looks on, pale faced, as the NYI draft a franchise defenseman or a superstar RW.
Anyways, the pipeline will empty over the next couple years.
Just give me a GM that patiently drafts skill and speed and patiently develops it. I’m sick and tired of the mediocrity. Why did we trade all those picks?

It's f'n hilarious that most of the problems are from Coaching and there are a select few that can't see it for what it is.

This L is on Smith. But the team owes him about 10, so let’s all just polish up our golf clubs and hope this snow ####s off.
I’m sure fox hollow will be open next weekend.

I think we get a chance to find out next season...this game is mostly on Smith though if we are being honest with ourselves

I agree, this game is mostly on the players.
Although, Smith should have been pulled after the 4-3 goal in my opinion. That's on Gulutzan. You could tell he was really struggling at that point.

For whatever reason, the Saddledome this season has been very bad luck for our goaltenders this seasom especially for Mike Smith though. His road and home splits are going to look dreadful again after this game.
