I hate seeing so many Oilers jerseys at the Dome. I mean, I hate seeing too many of any opposing team's fans; but this is an entirely different level with the Oilers' fans... Man, they are so obnoxious. A guy behind me would not shut up for the whole game - McDavid this, McDavid that - just brutally lame and annoying. So glad we came out on top in this one.
Smith was good, no doubt, but I can't say enough about Giordano. What a great leader by example! When Lucic hit him from behind smashing his helmet on the glass right in front of us, the sound of it was truly horrifying, yet Giordano didn't even pretend to be hurt; just got up and skated for the puck. So much intensity in this guy showing in his every shift on ice.

Matt Stajan has taken a lot of abuse on CP recently - unwarranted IMHO - the last play of the game says it all. The guy swallowed his pride years ago, played through family difficulties, and grinds it out on the 4th line. It will be sweet to see him hit 1000 games. I hope he gets a loud ovation for it in the Dome.
