Default Gadget users?

So I'm just wondering how many of us are caught up in the gadget thing? I'm barely involved I would think having only a PDA and a laptop and a Gamecube. I don't even have a cellphone(well I do but I haven't signed up since getting back from China so it's just another piece of junk in my drawer).

So what's the scoop? Do you have an assortment of gadgets that you can't live without or are you muddling by with nothing but maybe a cellphone?

I'm a gadget addict but can't afford all the newest stuff. I like seeing what the latest and greatest is, but all my gadgets are always a couple of years behind the trends. I guess i'm a budget gadget user.

I will be a gadget junkie when I can afford it... for now I'll stick to know what the newest gadgets are and playing with them in the stores.
I would be lost with out my laptop and since my Ipod broke I'm going crazy, I hate my cell phone but never go anywhere without it. I havn't had a really cool cell phone since 2001 when I bought the very first mp3 cell phone (64 MB memory YAH!). I have a digital camera but its a few years old and i don't really carry it around with me unless its a special event.

Holy crap I love gadgets. Canadian Tire is one of my favorite stores, for no other reason than all the neat stuff you can look at. I'd never buy anything, but can you imagine having something better than a solar panel powering your car vacuum/vice grip/flashlight/nose hair trimmer? I can't.

My current line of crap that I use constantly:
-Garmin GPS plugged into my cigarette lighter
-Radar detector " "
-satellite radio " "
-2 way radios
-ipod
-Treo cell phone
-2 laptops loaded down with so much crap software like Google earth that they barely turn on

And in case anyone was wondering, a must have accessory between gadget lovers is Duct tape. I frickin love duct tape....you can fix anything with that ****. Who needs a gadget to fix something when you have a roll of duct tape handy?

I'm probably a High level of gadgeteering, but my cheapness counters it out occasionally. Some of my latest toys.

- I resisted a Blackberry from work for the longest time, and now I love it. So freaking handy, especially for personal e-mail. Just don't set it to buzz everytime you get an email or you'll be addicted in no time. Web browsing is OK on mobile dedicated sites, but the screen's limiting. Use the Opera Brower, it's way better than the OEM one.

- Dual monitors at work and home. It's the only way to go baby.

- PS3 sitting in my office at work here. Not sure if I'm going keep this. Probably wont. I just saw one at lunch and figured it would be good to hang on to one.

iMac
MacBook
iPod 5G
iPod Mini
iPod Nano
iPod Shuffle
Garmin GPS
FRS Radios
Audiovox Cell Phone
Canon S3 IS
Sony digital 8 camera

Take the price of all the items above, multiple by 2 = the cost of all the acessories for above items.

Love gadgets. I usually change my cell phone every year from e-bay, just for the new technology. Also have the Garmin GPS. Digital camera, laptop, xbox...the list goes on.

I guess my wife and I are gadget addicts:

3 Garmin GPS's
2 Desktop computers
2 Laptop computers
IPAQ PDA
IPOD and various accessories
Creative Jukebox (Oldie but still works very well)
XBOX
PS2
Gamecube
Wii
PSP
DS
Older consoles (N64, PS1, Sega Gen)
2 cell phones
2 way radios
3 digital cameras
2 medium format cameras
XM radio

The only thing we're really not up on are the newest TV's and the like. Still watching old technology

I'll probably pick up a Shuffle or something gadgety for the wife for Christmas.

Hmmm... guess I'm a more extensive gadget user:

Ipod Nano
XM Radio in the car
Moto Razr
Nokia 6275i
Treo 650 on the way
Wii
DS
PS2, Xbox - every old gen game system incl. GameGear and TurboGrafx16
2 Laptops
2 Desktops
Panasonic FZ30 Digi Cam
Old Fuji 3.2MP Digi Cam
Logitech Harmony Remote (just awesome!)

Planning on new HDTV come Boxing Day, and picking up HDPVR system before Xmas.
