Well considering we need to pass teams ahead of us.. the Ducks would be easier to pass, since they have the same points as the Stars with 1 more game played. Also we play the Ducks at home later this season that could help.

On the fan960 I think they said that Ben Bishop was injured. Did I mishear that? That would be a bad break for the Dallas Stars if so.

Yes, he was injured during their game on Monday. The Stars are saying it's short-term -- but the Flames said the same thing about Smith, and we know how that's gone.

Do they blow the whistle right away on a penalty shot? Because the announcers were talking about "getting a power play at least" while they skated around with the extra attacker. I don't recall ever seeing a penalty shot not being blown dead right away.
