There are more people on this forum that care about the team than what's in the dressing room.

I am beginning to believe there is a fix in by the refs. Last 3 games have been so fraudulent. Ridiculous.

Like some of your ideas but that will never happen.

The NHL teams have pro scouts.
I agree. Brodie will not yield a 1st rounder. Will have to trade Hamilton for that, which I'm on board with also. Trading both of them could replenish picks in this draft, and bring in forward help that can be used now.

It'll force the Flames to promote defenseman from the system, but that's fine. If the prospect pool on the end is so great, might as well make use of it. This year the stacked defense approach was a failure.

Backlund and Frolik are 3rd liners, we desperately need a second line center capable of generating offense.

Bennett doesn’t need a change of scenery. He just needs a coaching staff and him who are ok with him not being a #1 centre.

This all sounds so much like backlund while he was developing and it’s pretty much guaranteed that idiots on CP undervalue Bennett compared to anyone who actually works in the nhl as a coach or gm

Are these "pro scouts" like the ones that thought Hamonic was worth a lottery pick and two 2nds?

I believe you don't know who Peter Chiarelli or Jim Benning are?

Have to agree - both would be great 3rd liners but are only average 2nd liners. Frolik in particular has really declined this year. I used to like that guy.

Backlund is on pace for 50 points, I swear some people won't be happy unless the Flames get a 1-2 punch comparable to Crosby/Malkin.

Gulutzan and Cameron need to sit down with the Roughnecks coaches to figure out how angles work. His head would explode watching all those guys desperately fight to get their sticks to the inside for a better shooting angle.

He's been played at center, he's been played on the wing. Not once has he been expected to be a #1 center.
