That London commercial is driving me crazy. I also really hate that add for cannon cameras.
We might be talking about these products but the adds have had such a negative impact on me that I would never consider them as spending option.

Apartments? They're luxury condos, walking distance to the theaatah!
You know what makes me laugh? How greedy and pathetic some developers have gotten recently, you cannot renovate some cinder block apartment building from the 60's and call them "luxury condos". But the cinderblock is painted brown, we can charge $350K!

I hate the 'I like London" ads as well. They make it sound like the condo towers will be in the heart of an entertainment district instead of next door to a low rent car lot, a bottle depot and an oil change drive through. To boot, Macleod Trail is at its least pedestrian friendly state right there so I hope that people who are buying there aren't under the illusion that they're moving into a Kensingtonesque situation.

Co-op and a bunch of other shops are right accross the street. Shanks and a bunch of other places are with in walking distance from there, it is a pretty quick trip downtown on the c-train, jr and high schools are close as well.
It's not the greatest location, but it does have some potential.

Oh and Alarm force is really awful too….”Hello this is a fake alarm force station”
“There someone banging at my door! What ever will I do?”
“Ill send over the cops right away!!!”

I agree. There is a difference between ads that get your attention and you remeber them, and ads that make you want to put your fist through your car radio.
Also I don't like ads were kids or stoned teenagers are promoting things. Those are two groups of people I don't want advice from. There was Dairy Queens ads a couple of years ago with these two brain dead teenagers talking about blizzards, those ads were so bad I don't go to Dairy Queen ever. And ads where kids are recommending some product or service for adults upset me. I don't want some kid telling me were to invest my money or what jam to buy.

I can't wait to see the traffic jams on that side road at rush hour when all four towers plus the office towers on the corner are built. Hopefully soon after I will be living in Nuera fighting crackheads on the street.

That is a terrible ad, but the worst ads are those stupid Canon ones. That woman's voice is so grating and the background music is horrible!

Don't forget that this place is pretty close to Studio82 so it does have at least a touch of class.

Call 1-800-267-2001...ALARM FORCE! (I didn't have to google that).
And it's traded on the TSX!
About a 25-30% return over the last year...not bad

I live just up the hill from those places and Im really not looking forward to what the traffic is gonna be like when they're done. It is going to be a nightmare.
I mean, they wont even be able to access Heritage westbound without going back up to Macleod and then down to Heritage to wait for the turn light. That side road up to Macleod by the oil change place will lined up down to the bottle depot for sure in the morning, probably even lined up right to the condo parking garages.
As for the location, I get a chuckle out of the ads because, Schanks and CO-OP are not even close to what they are promoting. And a quick jaunt to downtown on the C-Train? Yeah, if you can get on a train I suppose it is. Actually, it is bad enough in rush hour trying to get on a Train at Heritage what are they gonna do with all those people added in? Really stupid location for towers like that.

Did you check out the amenities map? It's like an optical illusion. If you didn't know the city you might think you are just a few minutes away from all sorts of stuff.
That being said, if things go perfectly (ie you don't wait, you can get on the train) it is only a stop away from Chinook and maybe 10-12 minutes from downtown.

AH HA HAHAH. That is brutal! They circle the development in red, cut it and paste it right in and around Erlton. That is seriously false advertising.
