It’s just coz a lot of my mates are Liverpool fans, my Dad included, and 1989 apart, there tends to be a relatively close relationship between the fans.

I’ve taken a couple to Arsenal matches and they even got away with cheering Liverpool goals.

Aw #### can’t even score a pel.

Its just friendly fun. I've always found Arsenal hard to hate. Not like the Manchesters or Chelsea or Divingham Divingspur. I dont hate, but I do poke fun!

Most of them have gone missing with Ozil.

They should check the Pub down the street.

I havent watched him in a while but Ozil really reminds me of a few other German players from the last little while that are just there for their club teams to get paid and then perform for their country.

This is true. The past number of years the German team has been such fun to watch. Full of movement and talent, then they go off to their Clubs and it just disappears.

In fairness man, you gotta lighten up a little. I know things as an Arsenal fan are bleak because there doesnt look like much hope on the Horizon, but this is City. The only team that can stop City at the moment is Liverpool.

This was never going to go well for Arsenal. Take the loss and move along just like the rest of the league. It isnt a critical loss because it was more than likely penciled-in in advance.

If nothing else though, Liverpool defended Arsenal's 'Invincible's' record by beating City...

The Germans have a tendency to do that. I have no idea why. Podolski, Klose, Gomez, Schweinsteiger, all Elite players in a Germany jersey but put another shirt on them and they just coast.

They're like the 'Opposite England.'

Most English players are amazing for their clubs and then they pull on the 'Three Lions' and cant make a pass or score a goal to save their lives.

Trailing City by 30 points with 10 games left, Arsenal are technically still alive for the title because goal differential is the tiebreaker. The only thing is they are 50 (!!!!) behind on GD. There weren't any idiots in this thread who had Arsenal finishing second this year were there? Oh...whoops.

Yeah, I generally haven’t been that bothered about Arsenal, have seen this coming for years.

My big worry in my professional sports supporting career is the Flames sneaking into the playoffs and being 1 and done.

Only to see us rinse and repeat next year.

I can’t have BOTH teams doing that.

I’ve now got drink.

Hallelujah! Holy ####! Where's the Tylenol?
