They really do have to. With so many head to head matchups within our division not involving us we need to take care of our business

He certainly wasn’t the main problem tonight though or really even close to being a major factor in the downfall

The lack of coaching direction or any real nhl level hockey from the bottom six is more to blame.

Really disgusted with that game and this team. It's not just the way they lose, it's the way they do it and the feeling that no matter how good they may look for a shift, a period, a game, a week or two, the countervailing self-destructive impulse is just a matter of time and they will piss it all away. I don't want them to make it this way because it will breed more half-assed half-measures and mediocracy. They need a strong head coach to hold them accountable and bring them to the next level. They don't deserve to be rewarded with a playoff berth for what they've put in this season.

sure but .700 might be a stretch

2 divisional spots and 2 wildcard spots are within reach...This idea that every team is gonna end up with 97 points is false.

That being said I think the Flames need to make hay over this next stretch...like 5 or 6 of 7 hay.

That puts them in striking distance for some massive head to head match ups
