Wow, surprised that people are agreeing with the oilers commentators here. That was definitely not a penalty on the SJ goal. The close up angle from the other side confirms that contact was barely made, never mind a push.

Yeah after a couple angles it’s pretty clear that Kane barely glanced him and the player slipped or something. Shocking how unprofessional the Oilers crew is. I don’t watch many Oiler broadcasts but I imagine it’s par for the course?

have you seen what they call in the NHL these days? That is an OBVIOUS penalty. They called a far weaker crosscheck on the Oilers moments later
not gonna lie though if the result didn't mean anything to the Flames I would be laughing my ass off

HIs teammates likely didn’t know that Kane boarded him. Not because of the current debate on the hit, but moreso bexause I imagine Oiler’s practice consist of a lot of Oilers skating headfirst into the boards.
