agreed... you mean the play where the Dallas player was completely uncovered by Gilles when Brodie got puck magnetized by the right dot?

dodged a bullet on that one

I thought that too, but then noticed that Brodie had coverage in front.

GG coached teams have no idea how to overcome a third period deficit

Time to start double shifting Johnny. We need a goal here.

Lackluster performance with no scoring depth. I hope we can play Phoenix 10 more times in the next 6 weeks.

Yup just indicative of the lack of IQ on Brodie now. Just making these bone headed plays.

We gotta utilize our defensive depth in the organization to improve the third line in particular. Within the organization, hopefully someone like Dube will be a big help.
Not just depth, but top end too - or we are just spreading our top talent across too many lines.

The fact that a waiver wire pickup at the trade deadline is one of our most viable options on our top line seems fairly damning. Ferland has been struggling up there as of late too.

The bottom 6 main problem is a lack of speed IMO. They should pressure the defence, force turnovers and provide energy. It rarely happens.

I think it was a good waiver pick up. My observation was independant of that. Bad give away was number one on that shift. Giving up his positioning on his defensive mark was the second mistake

He put the fourth out for one shift. He's juggled his lines, and the top line is coming out every other shift. Honestly, you guys get so caught in the narrative you fail to actually look at what happens.

He’s going to have a formidable task finishing grade A scoring chances , from behind the bench.
