Yet drafting is the one thing he actually DOES know how to do reasonably well, and has done well, particularly outside the top ten (which obviously a pick for Vanek would have been - probably a 3rd rounder). This sums it up.

Great of the BJs.....they gave up an undersized career ahler and a guy that can't manage to stay on the same team for a month.
For a decent scorer for the playoffs.
Don't really see any benefit at all for the Canucks.
