Leafs are a team stacked with so much young talent. That could mean their draft picks are less valuable to them. Targetting rental Plekanec is pretty weak though -- if you want to make a run this year, aim higher.

They should have used those assets to get a guy like Hjalmarsson.. they need more help on D than up front honestly.

Plekanec on the 4th line sounds ok to me. Leafs got him for his defense and to kill PKs.

They didn't sign him to score goals.

I guess because they got him they can hopefully trade Moore maybe for a 5th or 4th?

He's an upgrade on Moore for sure.
