Surely Smith is back in March sometime. Until then we can roll with whoever has the hot hand of Gillies/Rittich. Absolutely no need to spend for a two or three week stopgap, who likely then bumps Rittich back down which doesn't help with his development.

0% chance a 1st is moved without that extension agreed to ahead of time.

Even then, I doubt our 2019 1st would be involved. Fox, maybe. I could see that.

I’ve always been in favour of bringing in Kane. I don’t believe every guy On your team has to be a Boy Scout. Jerry Jones passed on Randy Moss because of character concerns and regretted it every day for 20 years.
