I'm liking the new changes...who cares about the grid girls. The halos I am a bit torn on, but that is simply an aesthetic issue. I like changing the start time by 10min so that you do get a bit of commentary before the actual race starts.
F1 still needs to work hard on competitiveness by the back markers and improving the ability to pass. And I do hope they can find a nice balance between making F1 available for the "Average Joe" vs the "Rolex" crowd...I do love the elitism of it, but that could just be me.

I agree with everything you said.
Excited for the car launches, minus the ugly halo. Interested to see what we get this year without the sharkfin and stupid t wing.
McLaren are saying they expect some podiums with Renault power. I dream of the days of a season like 2010 where we had 4 teams within a tenth and the top 10 separated by less than half a second.

Unfortunately that is not likely to be their real livery. They've done the camo thing in the past and always revert to their normal colour scheme for the season.

It won't be their livery. It's only the launch livery.

Well that sucks. That is a seriously badass livery. Red Bull is my favourite team. I would have loved to look at that all year.

It is my first time at the F1 this weekend and we had lots of fun yesterday checking out the track and the practices. The Mercedes are very quick, the Ferarris are close behind, and the other teams have some catching up to do.
We are heading back today for more practice and qualifying. It is currently dumping down rain though so not sure if it will be as much fun today.
