Not the Kevin Koe I am used to seeing. Just missing shot after shot after shot.

If you told me that neither of Homan or Koe would win a medal I'd have laughed in your face. Just been a rough week for Canadian curling. I'd still send both of them again and not feel nervous about it.

I agree. I wonder how much the recutting of the stones got into their heads, that was when they started to play poorly.

Obviously no way to tell for sure, but there's definitely something in their heads. Maybe pressure of the big stage? Who knows. But it's definitely mental with both of them. Very uncharacteristic weeks.

Edit - Great shot there though!

I doubt it is the pressure of the big stage. All four have played in Brier finals, which are in front of way larger crowds than the Olympics. But you're right, there is no way to tell for sure.

Who would've thought that our Curling teams would be by far our biggest disappointments?
Huge let down. Missed shots everywhere.

Just poor curling overall. Swiss had to make very few difficult shots all game and Canada chasing it every end with at least two misses each end. Koe missing easy easy shots all game.

Thank God for Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris. They're a combined 4-0 at the Olympics

This game has been surprising. Canada looks shaky and nervous, Germany looking quite calm. Beating Sweden will do that for your confidence I suppose.
Edit: 2-0 Germany now. Holy cow.
