Very good trade for the Devils. They'll need more to compete with the other Eastern powerhouses though.

I would give him a chance at the #1 RW spot on the Flames for the remainder of the season and potentially playoffs.
Our RW is weak.

I was thinking equivalent is Rafikov. Apparently some word that Rykov may not leave the KHL anytime soon.
But then again the Rangers seem to have a knack at wooing prospects and free agents, so who knows.

Seems like the wrong time for the Devils to be giving up a second for a potential rental to me.
I'm not sure New Jersey is a playoff team next season. I think they should still be keeping their high picks.
