It feels like Monahan gets 30 of those easy tap in garbage goals every year.

What a play by Gio to keep the puck in the zone.

I’m glad Hrudey caught that. Such a heads up play

Well, it's just one game but based on this viewing I'll take Smith over Raanta 10 out of 10 times.

Great passing all around on that goal. Funny how the fans were saying more Hamilton on the PP since early in the season. Guy is solid on the PP when he slides Into top of the circle.

Yay PP goal!

I mean, yeah, it's one of those things that is fair criticism for this coaching staff. It never really made any sense to me to not immediately have Hamilton on your top PP.

It really is baffling. If they had figured that out months ago, we'd be sitting comfortably in a playoff spot right now, and probably battling it out with the Sharks for 2nd in the Pacific at least.

Woulda been nice to see Benny on top line last night instead of Hathaway because it’s hard to know if they truly look good or if it’s just the Phoenix effect

Don’t care what people say, Bennett and Johnny have solid chemistry and look really good on the same line almost every time GG has allowed it to happen.
If Sam got this opportunity earlier in his career with Calgary I think we’d see a completely different player.
This is why I’m on the “don’t trade Sam” bandwagon, he’s only 21 and rarely sees opportunities like this.
