I love what Kulak has brought this year, but he looked completely lost on that last shift. Had no idea where to be or what to do at any point there. Led to quite a few high quality chances against.

I respectfully disagree..... any half major shake up should have happened ages ago. The fact it took this long to do anything but swap Brouwer and Hathaway and Lazar was brutal. Would have liked to see tkachuk on the top line at some point as well.

For sure, but if he didn't have his stubborn strategies and preferences that just scream "smarter than everyone else" we could have given him this credit a long, long time ago.

Like I said if Sam Bennett works well on that line and starts playing to his ability and gets confidence that would be like adding a top 6 winger without giving up anything. That would be huge for this team

And Versteeg can slide in and give that third line a boost.
Actually Ferland - Janko - Versteeg isn't a bad third line at all.

Some people think criticizing him is having a vandetta against him. This team needs him to become a productive player if they want to contend in the near future. That’s why his play frustrates me but if he shows some consistency then I will 100% admit I was wrong about him. Keep him with the first line and hopefully he can gain some confidence
